Our Role
This was a Design & Build project, delivered by SWBC in collaboration with Richard Norrish from Designs and Services. Working closely with the clients alongside our design team, we guided the project from early design through to construction. A key challenge was creating a generous upper-level space for the children without imposing on the street frontage. This was resolved by designing the upper floor predominantly under the main roof form, maintaining a modest street presence while allowing the second level to express itself more fully at the rear. Through careful planning and collaboration, we delivered a home that feels balanced, family-focused, and well resolved.
